Sister-in-laws Robin and Lisa were sure they weren’t the only ones who loved high quality designer merchandise but didn’t want to pay the boutique prices. Wanting fabulous clothing, shoes and accessories at great prices was the spark that brought Closet NV, their Eco-chic consignment store to life. Since its opening in 2010, Closet NV has been a smash hit. It’s not only been featured in StyleLine MagazinePhoto Stream, Daily Dress and Metro You, but has just been voted Best Consignment Store of 2011 by Hour Magazine. Not bad for their first year!

But Robin and Lisa aren’t content to just sell fabulous merchandise. They are committed to giving back to their community. They found just the way to do it when they created Girls’ Night Out, their monthly shopping event. This venue has allowed them not only to raise money for their own charities, but for those of their customers and clients as well. Past events have successfully raised money for Michigan Chapter of ALS, Haven Garden Project, Michael J. Fox Foundation, North Star Reach, Michigan Citizens for Stem Cell Research and Cures, and Grace Center of Hope.

How does Girls Night Out work? Closet NV provides the e-vites, food, drinks and, of course, the amazing shopping specials, then donates a percentage of the evening’s proceeds to the chosen charity. Contact them to take advantage of this program for your charity.
